CRITICAL REFLECTION
Shortly Critical Reflection
The good thing is that I get to experiment with new things, practices, and planning. For example, I was experimenting with a basic technique that has to be tried many times to get the desired effect. Printing works with a variety of paper to suit the work. Making shelving requires tools, cutting wood, and planning tasks with backup plans and appropriate plans for each task. The installation of a result affects the meaning of the communication between the work and the viewer. It is meant to be in the museum is essential and significant.
On the other hand, there are usually disadvantages when there are advantages. First, most of the audience needed help understanding what I wanted to convey. Secondly, with the work, there may be some mess, such as Cutting down the wood that is deformed, making the shelf tilted but does not tilt the installation that does not heal the paper and causing marks. I must be careful when cutting; it should be glued smoother than this.
Therefore, my series of works aims to experiment with techniques, find new possibilities, continue what I have wanted to do since my undergraduate degree, and learn and do. For me, it is an incomparable experience to reading books. Although everything is not as expected, I am satisfied with the work, and it motivates me to continue working on art. In my next project, I will reduce Buddhism's symbols to the signs people use to communicate to the audience. In addition, I will practice combining film with digital photography and making my work more refined.
